Quality Policy

MDY Construction is dedicated to ensure that all of its activities are carried out to the highest possible standards and that building projects are:

• Built in accordance with specifications and drawings.
• In compliance with Building Regulations.
• In compliance with statutory requirements.
• In conformity with industry best practice.
• In compliance with Planning Conditions, where applicable.
• Completed to the satisfaction of the Design Team and Clients.

Quality Procedures

The Company operates a system of quality control from award of contract to handover, in which:

• Contract documentation is studied and evaluated.
• A system of work is developed.
• Sub-contractors are properly appointed.
• Each stage of the works is checked and validated.
• Conformity of materials to specification is ensured.
• Materials are tested where necessary.
• Quality records are maintained.
• All relevant documentation is compiled for inclusion in the Handover/Safety File.

Quality Management

MDY Construction management staff – contracts managers, site managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, safety manager – engage in a process of study and familiarisation with contract documentation prior to commencement on site and the appointment of sub-contractors. During the course of the works:

• Regular production meetings are held.
• Quality checks and sign-off sheets are completed.
• Materials are tested.
• Data sheets and accreditation documentation are procured.
  • Quality is continuously monitored by site management.
  • Compliance with quality procedures is enforced by contracts managers.
