Description:

The work includes the construction of a new two storey extension to the existing  school with separate new shed building and the phased refurbishment of the existing two storey school.

The structure of the new extension comprises a steel frame with reinforced concrete pads and strip footings substructure, reinforced concrete ground slab, mesh reinforced screed on precast hollowcore upper floor and membrane and insulation covered metal deck roof.

The refurbishment work includes taking down and making good works, the complete internal reconfiguration of the existing toilet block on two levels, structural alterations at the junction with the new extension on two levels, window and external door replacement for the entire building, refurbishment of the existing roof coverings, new roof insulation throughout, some new partitioning, doors and frames, new ironmongery, new mechanical and electrical installations, raising and refurbishing the existing staircase balustrades, new floor and staircase finishes and redecoration of the entire.

The works also include mechanical and electrical installations, built in joinery and sanitary fittings.
