Description:
Effluent treatment plant and outfall / discharge from Dew Valley Foods to Thurles WWTW.  The works comprised the construction of a new DAFF Plant in the food processing facility, a high pressure HDPE effluent line from the municipal treatment facility along a 7.5km route in open countryside including a tunnel beneath an active and busy inter-city rail line and substantial excavation in rock.  Continuous liaison with landowers, Irish Rail and the local authority was required.
