Description:

Design, build and commissioning of in-vessel composting works. 

These works will be capable of processing 25,000 tonnes per year of separately collected biowaste from households, food waste from the service industry and retail outlets, and other commercial biowaste. The works include the design and construction of all ancillary site and infrastructure works at Drehid, Carbury, Co. Kildare.  

This is a turnkey facility, with process design and supply by WTT, which will be fully ABP compliant at handover.  

The works are designed and constructed to allow the operation of the works to be in compliance with the EPA Waste Licence.  All emissions during the construction, commissioning, performance testing and operational stages including emissions to air and water, dust, odour and noise comply with the EPA Waste Licence. 

We are also responsible for all laboratory testing requirements during the commissioning stages including the validation and approval of the works by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
