Description:

MDY are delighted to be appointed as Main Contractor on the new BRL Coultry 6A project.

The project comprises of the constructin of 25nr dwellings and associated site and road works along with the development of the adjacent park including all site drainage, services and development works.

The gross internal floor area of approximately 2,068m2 which comprises of 7 nr 1 bedroom apartments, 4 nr 2 bedroom apartments, 12 nr 3 bedroom apartments/houses and 2 nr 4 bedroom apartments on a 3 acre site.

The site is located at Coultry Road, Ballymun, Dublin 9.

The apartments / houses are being constructed to an A3 BER standard and include air tightness tests, minimising thermal bridging and inclusion of a solar thermal hot water system and flue gas heat recovery units. Liasing with the local community concerning progress and traffic issues is a major element of this job.
